Our Dog Walkers are
raising funds on 02/10/16
Our communal dog walkers are raising funds by doing a sponsored walk for Dun-Roamin'. This event is crucial as sadly funds are at an all time low. These funds go in to caring for the neglected canines we take on, some many rescues simply wouldn't – throwing a huge lifeline to abused and abandoned dogs that need housing, food, veterinary treatment and above all, care and rehabilitation.
Come rain, sleet or snow we will be walking on the 2nd October 2016. You could show your support by sponsoring a dog to walk for it's fellow friends currently and to come.
Please note: donations can be made by post, but need
to be made out to the COMMUNAL DOG WALK EVENT.
Thank you for your support.
PLEASE NOTE: For us to be able to bank cheques, they need to be made out to Dun-Roamin' Rehoming. Thank you!
Our postal address is: Dun-Roamin' Dog Rehoming', 16 Park Street, Tamworth B79 7QP.

Other ways to help
We also have accounts and pages on these popular sites listed below. So, if you have a walk / run / swim / ride / raffle or other great activity you'd like to take part in and you'd like to support us with the sponsorship – we'd be delighted if you'd do it for Dun-Roamin' Dog Rehoming.

If words paint a thousand pictures then
I will let the image above say everything I think you need to know. But we would like to say a special thank you to Laura – Dun-Roamin's Rehoming Centre Manager. This lady works tirelessly going far and beyond to promote, care for and rehabilitate the dogs in our home. She truly is the first connection to love and the life we think they deserve. From everyone connected with Dun-Roamin' and every dog who you have nursed, consoled, cuddled, fed and been there for day in and day out before finally finding them a good home…
Thank you Laura!

The Team at Witherley Kennels
A big thank you to all of the staff and management at Witherley Boarding Kennels. Despite having the option to make more money from the kennels through a change of use to boarding, they've retained the stray block allowing Dun-Roamin' to come and go as required, not to mention putting up with all of the dogs that through their inability to deal with their current predicament and stresses create an atmosphere that can often be hard on the ears.
Another key ingredient to the make up of Dun-Roamin' Rehoming and one that though it doesn't get said as often as it should, we are very grateful for.
Donations make a difference!
Without funds we can't do the work that we do. Equipment, food, vet bills etc all have to be found. Both ourselves and the dogs we save every year are grateful to our loyal supporters.
Donations via post will be accepted at this or any of our other publicised addresses or can be made direct into our bank account as follows;

We generally say thank you to everyone we can through our Fundraising Group on Facebook, but we'd like to say a big thank you to the organisations listed below for their ongoing and continued support. With your help, and the support of your customers we've been able to do so much more to assist and support the animals we rescue.
Our faithful dog walkers
Ian, Laura, the committee members and every dog that has been homed at Dun-Roamin' Dog Rehoming Centre would like to say a big thank you to our amazing volunteer dog walkers. You are the glue that binds it all together as you spend quality time with the dogs that we are sometimes unable to, creating a unique bond with them whilst they are in our care.
Don't be fooled into thinking that it is an easy task to be a DRRH dog walker. Other than a passion for dogs, It takes a special sort of person who has a willingness to learn, plus shows dedication and commitment. The walkers deal with dogs that sometimes are perceived by others to have negative personality traits and so potentially dangerous, but they always put the love into our dogs paws allowing them contact and exercise. That's why we have the heart in our logo, so you and everyone who works with Dun-Roamin' to rehabilitate these animals, will always be remembered:
